Armenian Dram-Tuesday, April 2, 2019

Updated: Apr 3, 2019

Perhaps it’s my financial conservative bent, but spending 8,000 for breakfast nearly stopped my heart. Then I remembered: “It’s Armenian Dram, the local currency, not American dollars.

Thankfully, I have a great App that does the conversion rate for me.

The breakfast was spectacular with local Armenian delights, like Dolmades (a mixture of rice and meats wrapped in grape leafs), cheeses and meats, eggs, potatoes, and some foods I wasn’t familiar with, but will definitely eat again. All for 8,000 Dram ($16.45 - American dollars).

So what’s a few thousand Drams when you can have a feast like this!

Here I am in the Yerevan, Armenia. Armenia is the land of Noah and Christianity. It’s hard not to be captured by the history. Much of the modern architect resembles Soviet influence. Am hoping to have some time tomorrow to take in a few of the museums.

However, for today, my mind and heart is toward the pastors and church leaders I will be ministering to in the next few days. Today, l’m spending time with the Lord, asking him what he desires for me to share with these men and women of God.

Thanks for journeying with me.
